ARALDITE 2015 EPOXY
Composites bonding…with Araldite 2015 epoxy. It’s a
tough, resilient paste that is ideal for use on thermoset composites of all
types, particularly on fiberglass-reinforced epoxies. The same adhesive works
well on metals and combinations of the dissimilar materials. If you haven’t been
promoting this great adhesive, start today!
The thixotropic, gap-filling adhesive can be applied up to a
0.39-in. (10-mm) thickness. It has a 35-minute gel time and attains handling
strength after only four hours at room temperature. Once cured, Araldite 2015
produces joints with high shear strength, good peel strength and good resistance
to chemicals, heat, water and impact.
Like other Araldite 2000 epoxies, the adhesive is supplied in
50 and 200ml cartridges as well as working packs and pails.
