PACKAGING WITH HOT MELT ADHESIVES......There are several
very good ( in fact, excellent ) reasons:[Please scroll down]

1. FAST Instant bonding...no waiting for cold glue...no
tape cutting, placing, smooth down...nor multiple
repositioning for staples.
2.EASY Two steps: Dispense/Compress.
3. STRONG Stress is distributed evenly
compared to single entry point of staples resulting in
double the strength.
4.NEAT No messy, visible tape...No covering of
printed matter resulting in a cleaner, better looking
carton.
5. SAFE No sharp staple points...No damage to
contents...No puncturing of carton.
6. ECONOMICAL Faster, less expensive than tape,
staples and cold glue. (See comparison inside).
7. FOOD SAFE FDA ingredients (listed under CFR
175.105 Adhesives).
8. QUALITY Dependable...High
Performance...Consistent

Standard recommendation for permanent PSA labels. Excellent balance of hot and cold temperature performance along with tack level, adhesion and strength. (USPS test results: 77 oz./inch before destruct).

SPS237

9500 cps

Yellow

127ºC

Primary recommendation for product assembly applications. SAFT of 210ºF. Excellent balance of tack and superior heat resistance. (USPS test results: 77 oz./inch before destruct).

SPS238

1800 cps

LIGHT YELLOW

80ºC

Standard recommendation for removable (fugitive) hot melts. Low staining, works on most paper stocks.

SPS262

5200 cps

Yellow

84ºC

Low viscosity permanent pressure sensitive assembly adhesive. It has excellent high tack at low temperatures, ecellent bleed through resistance and very aggressive tack.

SPS288

1500 cps

CLEAR

110ºC

Prime recommendation for removable (fugitive) hot melts. Low staining, works well on most paper stocks

USPS test involves applying an unidentified level of adhesive (we use 1 mil) to face stock then laminated to clean stainless steel and allowed to sit for 10 minutes. A 180 degree peel is then measured with a minimum acceptable level of 8 oz/inch required with destruct bonds being preferred

HOT MELT GREAT FOR REPLACING MANUAL GLUING
DynaMiniGun[1].jpg (54447 bytes) DynaCardApp.jpg (69446 bytes) Mail distribution houses produce a mailer that includes credit cards. Pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to the back of the credit card to secure it to the mailer. The Dynamini gear pump system allows precise delivery of a specific amount of glue. Easier for the operator. It is cleaner, safer and less expensive than manual gluing. Less adhesive is used and faster than manual gluing. And there is no setup time using Hot Melt Adhesive. It is also upgradeable-can be converted to an automatic operation with little additional cost. Contact the Packaging Hot Line at 1-800-323-5158
